01Our commitment
Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We are working toward that standard and review the site as we add and change pages. We don't claim the site fully meets it yet.
02What we've done
- Pages use clear headings and page regions, so they can be navigated by section with a screen reader.
- Links, buttons and menus work with a keyboard, and controls show a visible outline when they have focus.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site skips the opening animation, turns off smooth scrolling and simplifies or stops its scroll effects.
- Photographs that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The video player has standard controls, and you can close it with the Escape key.
- Our phone number, email and address are written as text, so they can be read aloud, copied and tapped to call.
- Text can be enlarged with your browser's zoom.
03What we're still working on
We know some parts of the site aren't as accessible as we want them to be:
- Videos. Dr. Colby's videos don't have captions or transcripts yet. We're adding them. Until then, we're glad to answer any question a video covers by phone or email.
- Opening animation. The home page opens with a decorative animation. It carries no information you'd miss, and it's skipped when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Scroll effects. Some pages use motion tied to scrolling. Turning on your device's reduce-motion setting simplifies them.
04Services outside our control
Some things linked from our site are run by other companies, including our online scheduling provider, Google (reviews and maps), Instagram and Facebook. We can't control how accessible they are. If one of them gets in your way, call or email us and we'll book your visit or give you the information directly.

06Tell us what's not working
Your feedback helps us fix the site for everyone. When you get in touch, it helps to tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We'll aim to reply within a few business days.
